Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 2026 · Nina Park for State Senate
This Privacy Policy explains how Nina Park for State Senate ("the Committee," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit this website or interact with the campaign.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us through forms. When you join our list, volunteer, RSVP, or contact us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, ZIP code, and mobile phone number.
- Donation information. Donations are processed by a third-party payment processor. The processor collects payment card details directly; we receive the contribution information required for campaign-finance compliance (such as name, address, amount, occupation, and employer) but do not receive or store full payment card numbers.
- Cookies and analytics. We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working properly and to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site (pages visited, device type, general location). You can control cookies through your browser settings.
- Automatically collected technical data. Like most websites, our servers may log IP addresses, browser type, and access times for security and troubleshooting.
2. How we use information
- To send campaign updates, event invitations, volunteer opportunities, and donation requests by email and, where you have opted in, by text message;
- To organize volunteer activity and respond to your messages;
- To comply with campaign-finance reporting and other legal obligations;
- To secure, maintain, and improve this website.
3. SMS / text message program
If you provide your mobile number and check the opt-in box, you consent to receive recurring campaign text messages (SMS/MMS) from Nina Park for State Senate. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out and HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or donation.
We do not sell or share your mobile opt-in data. Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are not shared with or sold to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data is used only to deliver the campaign's own messaging program through our messaging service providers acting on our behalf.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers who operate the website, email, texting, and donation processing on our behalf and who may use it only to provide those services;
- Regulators, where campaign-finance law requires the disclosure of contributor information on public reports;
- Legal authorities, when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of others.
5. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes above, including any retention period required by campaign-finance and other applicable law, and then delete or de-identify it. Opt-out records (such as STOP requests and unsubscribe requests) are kept so that we can honor them.
6. Your choices and rights
