These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website and the Committee's messaging programs. By using the site, joining our lists, or donating, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Use of this site

You may use this site for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes related to the campaign. You agree not to interfere with the site's operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, scrape or harvest data, submit false information, or use the site to send spam or malicious content.

2. SMS / text-message program terms

Program name: "Hale for Congress Campaign Updates."

• Program description. By opting in, you consent to receive recurring campaign updates, event alerts, volunteer requests, and donation requests from Hale for Congress by automated text message (SMS/MMS) and calls, which may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system, at the mobile number you provide.
• Consent is voluntary. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or donation.
• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.
• Opt out. Reply STOP to any message to cancel and stop receiving texts. After you opt out, you may receive a single message confirming your opt-out.
• Help. Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at the address in Section 8.
• Carrier non-liability. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Data handling. We will not share or sell your mobile opt-in data or consent with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
• Eligibility. The program is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older located in the United States. By opting in, you confirm you are the account holder or have the account holder's permission, and that the number provided is your own.

3. Donation terms

Donations made through this site are processed by a third-party payment processor on the Committee's behalf; your payment details are collected and handled by the processor under its own terms and privacy policy. By contributing, you certify that:

• This contribution is made from your own funds, and funds are not being provided to you by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution;
• You are a United States citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident;
• You are at least 18 years old;
• You are not a federal government contractor;
• This contribution is made on a personal card or account, not a corporate or business card, and is not made from the general treasury funds of a corporation, labor organization, or national bank.

Contributions are subject to applicable contribution limits. Contributions or gifts to Hale for Congress are not tax deductible. Federal law requires us to use best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle. For refund requests, contact us at the address in Section 8.

4. Intellectual property

The content of this site — text, graphics, logos, and design — belongs to the Committee or is used with permission. You may share campaign materials for personal, non-commercial purposes that support the campaign; any other reproduction requires our written permission.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

This site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Committee and its officers, staff, and volunteers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or participation in our messaging programs.
