Eighteen years
on the record.
Andre Colton grew up in Bramwell County and never left it for long. He put himself through law school waiting tables, took the job nobody else wanted — a line prosecutor in the busiest courtroom in the county — and stayed because the work mattered.
Over eighteen years he tried more than four hundred cases, from burglary to homicide. He rose to Chief Deputy District Attorney and built the office’s first Victims’ Advocacy Unit, so that survivors were never again just a name on a docket. When new evidence surfaced in old cases, he founded a conviction-integrity review — because a prosecutor’s job is to get it right, not just to win.
He believes the two things people are told to choose between — keeping the county safe and keeping it fair — are the same job done honestly. That’s the balance he’ll hold as your District Attorney.

Publish an annual report on charges, outcomes, and dismissals. A District Attorney who shows the receipts earns the public’s trust — and keeps it.
Protect kids and seniors
