Meet Leah
From this county. For this county.
Leah Brandt has lived in Franklin County for fifteen years. She and her husband raised two kids here, and twelve years ago she opened a small hardware store on Main Street that still keeps its lights on the hard way — one honest sale at a time.
She got into local issues the way most people do: a problem nobody would fix. When a washed-out culvert flooded her block three winters running, Leah organized her neighbors, showed up to every meeting, and didn’t leave until the county put it on the schedule. It got fixed. Then people started bringing her the next problem.
Leah has served on the school PTA board, chaired the Main Street Business Alliance, and volunteered with the county food pantry. She isn’t a career politician and doesn’t want to be one. She’s running for the Commission because the county’s basics — roads, budgets, public safety, and a government that returns your call — are too important to leave on autopilot.
