Meet Ellen
She never left the classroom.
Ellen Marsh grew up in Your District, the kid who stayed after the bell to help stack chairs. She put herself through school waiting tables, and the first day she walked into her own fourth-grade classroom, she knew she was home.
For fifteen years she taught reading to kids who’d been told they’d never catch up — and watched them prove everyone wrong. She ran the summer book drive, coached the debate team, and when the district ran out of supplies in March, she organized the parents who fixed it.
She’s seen what our families are up against: classrooms that are too crowded, rents that keep climbing, and decisions made by people who never asked. She kept showing up anyway. That’s the job.
Ellen is running for State Assembly because Your District doesn’t need another insider — it needs a neighbor who listens, does the reading, and refuses to give up on a single kid.
