MH Maya Herrera for U.S. Senate Donate

A new voice for Your State

The insiders had their chance. Now it’s ours.

New energy. Real results.

Maya Herrera isn’t waiting her turn. She’s a public-school teacher, a small-business daughter, and a first-time candidate for U.S. Senate — because the people writing the rules stopped listening to the people living under them.

Meet Maya

Not from the machine.
From here.

Maya Herrera grew up over her family’s hardware store in Anytown, stocking shelves before school and translating invoices after dinner. She watched her parents do everything right — and still get crushed by costs the people in charge called “normal.”

She became a public-school teacher. Eleven years, two thousand students, one rule: don’t tell kids to work hard for a system you won’t fix for them. When the district couldn’t afford classroom supplies, Maya organized. The coalition she built won new funding for every school in the county — without raising a single family’s costs.

Then she took on the utility commission over surprise rate hikes. The insiders said a teacher couldn’t win that fight. The refunds landed in 40,000 mailboxes.

Maya is running for U.S. Senate because Your State doesn’t need another insider managing the decline. It needs somebody with the receipts — and the nerve.

The Herrera Plan

Five fights.
Zero excuses.

Challengers don’t get to run on a record. Good — Maya runs on a plan you can hold her to.

Schools that deliver

Smaller classes, real trade programs, and teacher pay that keeps the best in the building. Every kid, every ZIP code.

$

An affordable life

Take on the price-fixers driving up rent, groceries, and utilities — and put the refunds back where they belong.

Care you can reach

Cap out-of-pocket costs, keep rural clinics open, and end surprise billing. Health care shouldn’t require a lawyer.

Honest government

Ban members of Congress from trading stocks, publish every meeting with paid lobbyists, and audit where your money actually goes.

Roads, bridges & the people who served

Fix what’s crumbling, build what’s missing, and make sure veterans never wait in line behind a contractor’s invoice.

Watch

Sixty seconds.
One promise.
